An African Underground Mining Services (AUMS) employee died on Tuesday at the Mana mine in Burkina Faso.
AUMS, a subsidiary of ASX-listed Perenti, is the underground mining contractor for Endeavour Mining at the Mana operation.
Perenti states that the AUMS underground operations at Mana have been temporarily suspended and that the incident will not have a material impact on the 2024 guidance.
Perenti will work with Endeavour and Burkinabe authorities to investigate the incident, the company states.
