Australia-listed Argosy Minerals reported on Friday that the Rincon project, in Salta, Argentina, remained on track for first commercial production of battery quality lithium carbonate product by the middle of next year.
In an operational update, the company stated that the 2 000 t/y lithium carbonate process plant development works were progressing on schedule and budget. About 40% of the total works have been completed for the modular development of the operation.
The construction phase would be completed in April and plant commissioning works and production test works would follow thereafter.
