Diversified miners Anglo American and Vale have confirmed they have been in discussions about the potential joint development of Vale’s Serpentina iron-ore resource, which is contiguous to Anglo’s Minas-Rio operation, in Brazil.
However, the discussions are preliminary in nature and do not guarantee that agreement will be reached.
