Owned by Mary Schaerer, Traceability Solutions has a yearly turnover of between R24-million to R28-million a year. June was a particularly busy month for Traceability Solutions, with the company supplying power utility Eskom with ten complete tool marking and tracking solutions. The ten systems were distributed to locations across the country and will form an integral part of Eskom’s ability to reduce loss or theft of tools at its operations. In the same month, Traceability Solutions supplied five more complete weapon tracking systems to the United Nations mission in South Sudan. These systems, and their related software, will be used to conduct a weapons census in the war-torn country.

Traceability Solutions ensures that it stays at the forefront of marking and identification and also prides itself on customer service excellence. The company stands for brand protection and against counterfeiting, and as such is a member of several anticounterfeiting and revenue protection associations.

The 28-people-strong company operates from Unit 54 Design Boulevard, Northlands Deco Park, Newmarket street, Northriding. It recently added 500 m2 to its office space, upping its operational space to a total of 1 176 m2.
