Time to build back better as we fight off Covid
A well-known chairperson was once criticised for spending much of his time looking out of the window of the high-rise corporate building that his company occupied. He would do so in deep thought, with his hands behind his back.
This intense contemplation turned out to be of great benefit to the company, however.
Now, with Covid refusing to hold back, similar thoughtfulness needs to be given to building back better, with every area of economic recovery seized upon and unacceptable old ways collectively discontinued.
