Mercedes-Benz South Africa (MBSA) would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the family of former statesman, Mr Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, and pay tribute to an international icon of peace and freedom. It was with great sadness that each and every employee of the company heard of the passing of this true South African patriarch.

Mr Mandela, in his tireless fight for equality for all South Africans, inspired the world to believe in the unifying values of our humanity, instead of focussing on the differences that divide us.

His bravery and dedication taught us that the untiring perseverance of one man can mobilise enduring change. Through the nobility of his spirit he showed us the healing power of forgiveness, and the dignity inherent in standing firm in your ideals.

South Africa has lost one of its most revered sons, but his legacy and memory will forever remain with us as an example of the ultimate in moral achievements.
