JSE-listed Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat) has advised that its basic earnings per share (EPS) for 2021 will be between 57% and 76% higher year-on-year at between R21.53 and R24.22.

This compares with the basic EPS of R13.69 posted in 2020.

The increase can be attributed to an 11.5% increase in platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold production in the year, as well as support from high commodity prices.

RBPlat will release its results on March 8.
