PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Ramelius Resources has exceeded its production targets for the September quarter, producing 71 344 oz in the three months under review.

The quarterly production exceeded Ramelius’ previously set guidance of between 65 000 oz and 70 000 oz.

The Mt Magnet operation produced 41 064 oz during the September quarter, while the Edna May operation contributed a further 30 280 oz.

The miner on Thursday told shareholders that cash and gold on hand reached A$221.9-million at the end of the quarter, up from the A$185.5-million at the end of the June quarter, following planned capital and exploration expenditure and a scheduled A$8.1-million debt repayment, stamp duty and an income tax installment.
