PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Ramelius Resources has reported a 15% increase in mineral resources, matching mining depletion.

The ASX-listed miner reported that total mineral resources at the end of June stood at 130-million tonnes, grading 1.5 g/t gold for 6.2-million ounces of gold, while the ore reserves have been maintained at 18-million tonnes, at 1.8 g/t gold for 1.1-million ounces of contained gold.

The miner told shareholders that the acquisition of the Rebecca project delivered a significant increase to the mineral resource, and work was in progress to generate ore reserve estimates for the project.

Future conversion of resources to reserve would also take place at the Edna May and Hill 50 assets, Ramelius said.
