PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Contractor Perenti has announced that nonexecutive chairperson Ian Cochrane would step down from the board, effective immediately.

The board has appointed nonexecutive deputy chairperson Robert Cole as chairperson, and has started the process of identifying and appointing a new nonexecutive director.

Parenti MD and CEO Mark Norwell paid tribute to Cochrane, saying he had been instrumental in the evolution of the company.

“My thoughts, together with those of the broader Perenti team, are with Cochrane and his family as he focuses on working through his health issues over the coming months,” said Norwell.
