Aim-listed Botswana Diamonds has advised that results from sample analysis on the Thorny River diamond project, based in South Africa’s Limpopo province, will only be available in mid-August.

A two-week delay has been caused by Covid-19 issues; however, the company reports that initial indications from sample sorting are positive.

The company is already planning to do additional drilling on the untested ground between the river and the discovered kimberlite blows.

Botswana Diamonds says site preparation for the drilling is under way.
