Electra Mining Africa exhibitor Merlin Systems will put on display a range of South African-designed products that offer the electrical panel manufacturing industry a local product that meets international standards.

The company will be showcasing its assembled steel enclosure, busbar supports and practical copper support solutions.

Merlin Systems supplies components and manufactures enclosures to meet SANS/IEC 61439 standards. Its products are tested at independent laboratories in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

“Our enclosure system was developed right here in South Africa with the internal insulating components being developed in the UK,” says company spokesperson Gerhard van Eeden.

Merlin Systems provides insulated supporting components, as well as design and manufacturing of completed assemblies. The company supplies its products across South Africa and Southern African countries.
