Mineral Resources and Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe will officially open the twenty-sixth edition of the yearly Investing in African Mining Indaba, which takes place in Cape Town, next week.

According to a statement issued by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy on Thursday, the department intends to assure current and potential investors of stability, regulatory certainty and rule of law, as well as to promote new investment opportunities that South Africa has to offer.

Mantashe’s official opening address will take place on February 3, in the main hall of the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
