Nelspruit-based Electro Systems, which supplies both locally manufactured and type-tested modular enclosures from Danish manufacturer Logstrup, will showcase its three Electro Systems divisions at this year’s Electra Mining Africa exhibition. The company hopes to broaden its exposure and brand awareness within a key audience by exhibiting at the trade show.

The company offers small- and large-scale integrated solutions covering all aspects from design to manufacture and installation of electrical automation. The generators division builds and supplies generators up to 1 200 kVA, while the Electro Enclosure division supplies locally manufactured stainless steel enclosures for a range of industries, including mining; water and wastewater; oil and gas; forestry; and the food and beverage industries.

The company offers solutions from the design stage right through to installation as well as maintenance and has vertically integrated its business to ensure that quality standards are guaranteed through every aspect of a project.

Because the company strives to continuously offer more efficient and progressive solutions to the market, it plans to launch an Ingress Protection (IP) 55 wall-mounted enclosure at this year’s exhibition.

An IP rating is an international standard used to define the levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies, such as dust and water.

The company serves clients throughout Southern Africa and further afield into East Africa, and is able to export products throughout sub-Saharan Africa as well as across the globe.

It continuously strives to find the most progressive solutions for its customers, which is evident through its association with Denmark-based Logstrup and its modular type-tested motor control centres.

Meanwhile, the company was a major supplier to the award-winning Witwatersrand Eastern Basin Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) project, which aims to stem the rate of rise of AMD in the Eastern mining basin and maintain it at or below the environmentally critical level. Electro Systems is also a supplier to the desalination projects for the City of Cape Town.
