With the African National Congress gearing up for its 55th National Elective Conference, many citizens are doubtful whether its new leaders will be able to finally place country before party. Finding the answer to this real-life riddle may appear far more intricate than the poplar Web-based word game Wordle. It’s actually not. If ANC members want their party to avoid imploding into electoral irrelevance, it’s in their own self-interest to put country first.
