TSX-V-listed Giyani Metals Corporation has started with an infill drill programme at the K.Hill manganese project, in Botswana.

The aim of the programme is to upgrade the current inferred mineral resource at the project to indicated mineral resources.

The programme will comprise 90 holes for 2 700 m of reverse circulation drilling and nine holes for 250 m of diamond core drilling.

K.Hill is Giyani’s flagship project and includes three manganese oxide projects in the Kanye basin, in Botswana.

Meanwhile, the company expects the Botswana Department of Environmental Affairs to approve a scoping and terms of reference on the project before the end of the year, which will help to inform a feasibility study.
