The employee in this picture is dwarfed as she walks past the unfinished chassis of this giant mining dump truck at the Autoworks Belaz OJSC heavy-vehicle plant, in Zhodino, Belarus. Belaz is a major world manufacturer of mining dump trucks of heavy-duty and super-size load capacity, as well as other heavy mining and construction vehicles. This Belaz-7571 series mining dump truck is an ultra-class haul truck that can carry a 450 metric tonne load. Maximum speed is 64 km/h and economy maximum speed, when fully loaded and on a 10% gradient, is 40 km/h.
