Getting it right

In the May 17, 2019, edition, the cover article included three factual inaccuracies under the Health and Safety subhead. The Industry Buy and Maintain Quiet Initiative requests that companies buy equipment that emits below 107 db, not 105 db. The legal requirement for exposure to silica dust is 0.05 mg/m3 and not 0.1 mg/m3. Also, the four new cases of silicosis were found in novices who entered the industry after December 2008, not 2009.
