Welding company ESAB will be moving into its new state-of-the-art 5 000 m2 facility in November - a move that’s largely motivated by the company experiencing “significant growth” over the last four years.

The new facility will allow the company to improve its product and service offering to its customers, while simultaneously upskilling them as they roll out training in its new training and demonstration facility.

Over the course of the next 12 months, the company will be rolling out its InduSuite to the market, which it says is “the next step in the digital evolution in welding”.

InduSuite is a comprehensive system that includes, but is not limited to, Weldcloud Productivity (which improves productivity by tracking consumption and tracing all welding down to each welding session); Weldcloud Fleet (through which an entire welding fleet can be managed from any location with cloud-based control, service logs and performance insight); and Weldcloud Notes (which provides superior control over welding documentation such as PQRs, WPSs and WPQs with welding management software that saves time).

As the world’s leader in the manufacture and supply of welding and cutting products, ESAB says it is at the forefront of technological innovation in this field.

“With advanced technology and unparalleled quality, the ESAB range of products offer consistency, reliability, efficiency and overall lower cost to use than our competitors,” the company states, adding that while supply chains are still adapting to the switch off, switch on turn that economies took around the globe, “freight is almost returning to some sense of normality and raw materials are cooling off”.

Applications in which ESAB operates include automotive, repair and maintenance, petrochemical, energy, earth moving equipment, agriculture, mining, marine, general fabrication and container manufacturing.

ESAB provides products and associated services for the thermal welding and cutting of metals.

Some of the brands that are under the ESAB umbrella include Stoody, EWAC, Victor, Thermal Dynamics, GCE, Exaton (previously Sandvik Welding), TBi, Gasarc, HKS, Tweco and Arcair.
