CPM at the PDAC 2021 - Silver Webinar and Report
Invitation
Global Webinar And Report
4 March 2021, 11:00 a.m. EST
For the past 16 years CPM Group has hosted a Silver Reception on the opening evening of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada’s (PDAC) annual convention. PDAC’s shift to an online conference provides us with the opportunity to host a Silver Webinar instead, expanding our audience globally, and reaching more people than we would have had the conference been in person.
The past year has seen tremendous changes and developments in the silver market. Some of these changes have been related to the three major global problems: the pandemic, the accompanying economic lockdown and recession, and the ongoing dysfunctional political systems both globally and in many countries. Others are specific to developments in the silver and gold markets, reflecting transformational long-term changes in market structure and liquidity, rapidly shifting investor attitudes, changes in bullion banking trading patterns, and changes in exchange traded fund trading patterns. The attempted squeeze in January and why it did not work, as well as its implications for silver going forward. All of this, and CPM Group’s 2021 outlook will be discussed in the Silver Webinar and accompanying Silver Report.
The Silver Webinar will be on the Thursday before the PDAC begins, 4 March. The time will be 11:00 a.m. EST, 12:00 midnight Beijing, 9:30 p.m. Mumbai, and 4:00 p.m. GMT. The Webinar is expected to run 60 to 90 minutes. The webinar will be redistributed on CPM Group’s Website and Youtube channel and will be available via Sponsor, Distributor, and Media Partner websites and systems.
A Free Silver Report will be released along with the webinar.
CPM is organizing a confederation of companies in the silver market to distribute the link to the Webinar and the Report, including major Media Partners. Included in the group of Distributors are companies from every sector of the silver market. We also are gathering Sponsors for the Silver Webinar and Report. The group’s members as of 22 February is listed on the following page.
The Silver Report is a succinct review and outlook of the silver market. It also will be a preview of our annual Silver Yearbook. The Silver Yearbook will be released on 11 May this year, a couple of weeks later than usual due to logistical issues.
Rohit Savant, CPM’s Research Director and Vice President, will be speaking at the PDAC on the outlook for gold, silver, platinum, and palladium.
