Load shedding and power outages have become daily challenges facing the country and therefore the importance of having a reliable back-up source of power cannot be overlooked, both from a private as well as a business perspective. Recognising the vital role generators play in alleviating these challenges, Chicago Pneumatic showcased its generator prowess at the Phalaborwa Mining & Technical Exhibition (MTE) in Limpopo on 14 March 2019.

“As a renowned leader in high-performance tools and equipment, Chicago Pneumatic, acknowledges the tremendous value our generators offer customers and with this in mind we took full advantage of the opportunity to display our numerous competencies at the MTE Phalaborwa,” states Eben van der Vyver, Chicago Pneumatic Business Development Manager - Southern Africa.

“These MTEs also provide us with a platform to give away one of our CPPG5 5.5Kva portable generators to an attendee chosen from a lucky draw. These units are ideally suited for private and professional users who occasionally need a portable generator.”

Chicago Pneumatic’s reputation for equipment that is robust, reliable and simple to operate and maintain extends to its generator portfolio. The company’s range of powerful and versatile generators have been specially developed to meet a variety of applications. A key unit in the series is the innovative CPPG5 petrol-driven generator which has been manufactured from superior quality components to deliver best-in-class performance.

This advanced generator provides continuous stable electrical output and user-friendly operation over a long service life to assist customers in increasing operation uptime and maximising productivity. These generators are equipped with large, reinforced fuel tanks, ergonomic handles and AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation).

At the MTE Phalaborwa, the Chicago Pneumatic stand was abuzz with activity as many attendees were interested in seeing the rugged generator first-hand and enquired about the company’s vast equipment portfolio. Riaan Naude from Klaserie Technical Services was the winner of the lucky draw and received his generator from Van der Vyver and Katlego Ntsie from Chicago Pneumatic Electrical Compressor.

“It was a highly productive day and we received several enquiries from potential customers,” notes Van der Vyver. “Having Katlego join us at the event further affirmed our company’s presence and commitment and enhanced our ability to provide customers with in-depth knowledge across our extensive product and service portfolio.”

“Chicago Pneumatic is proud to be able to offer customers’ a compact generator that assists in maintaining smooth operation throughout power difficulties.

Through our expansive product and service suite, Chicago Pneumatic is dedicated to remaining customers’ top-of-mind solutions partner,” concludes Van der Vyver.
