All Cat equipment embodies the durable and reliable attributes of the Caterpillar brand and Cat phones are no exception, with the entire range of rugged mobiles certified to the highest industry standard for ruggedness, IP67. This means they are able to withstand a 1.8 m-drop onto concrete, be submerged in up to 1 m of water for 30 minutes, and endure extreme temperatures – truly built for the task in hand.

Mining and other industrial industries require a mobile phone to be taken into an environment that it is not designed for, but the waterproof, drop-proof and durable Cat range of phones is built for the demands of the job.

The Cat B15Q smartphone combines the credibility and quality of the Cat brand with the latest mobile phone technology.

Designed especially for use in harsh environments, the Cat B15Q phone combines durability with practical features. It boasts a large 4-inch WVGA multi-touch screen with wet finger tracking, anti-scratch Gorilla Glass 2, and a 2000 mAh removable battery with talk time of up to 16.3 hours. It is equipped with Android version 4.4 (Kit Kat) and a Quad core 1.3 GHz processor (Bluetooth v 4.0) and a light-emitting diode flash added to the high-definition camera. With a bigger speaker and noise cancelling dual microphone encased in silver anodised aluminium and shock absorbent rubber, there is no compromise of smartphone features over practicality.

Since 2012, Bullitt Mobile has held the global licence for phones and accessories for Caterpillar and today its phones are sold in over 30 countries.
