TSX-V-listed Canada Nickel has announced assay results from its Deloro property, confirming a second significant discovery from its newly acquired properties.

CEO Mark Selby says Deloro now joins the Reid project as another significant, sizeable nickel discovery. “We look forward to continued success as we continue exploration around our regional properties, developing what we believe has the potential to be one of the world’s leading nickel districts.”

Drilling was highlighted by hole DEL22-01, which intersected 487 m of 0.25% nickel with a higher-grade section near the bottom of the hole intersecting 0.28% nickel over 91 m and hole DEL 22-09, which intersected 393 m of 0.2% nickel.

The Deloro property is located 9 km south-east of Timmins. Canada Nickel bought Deloro as part of 13 properties in November last year, consolidating its district-scale mining potential.

These projects are nearby its Crawford nickel-sulphide project.
