ALCO-Safe
ALCO-Safe is a major supplier of electronic breath alcohol detectors and drug testing equipment in South Africa with more than 40 years of experience in the field. The Pretoria, Gauteng-based company offers competency training on the use of its products and assists in the development of substance abuse policies.
ALCO-Safe is the sole distributor of LION breathalysers with thousands of breathalysers in use on hundreds of mining sites in the country. The seven- to ten-year life span of the product ensures that money invested in the health and safety device is a long-term investment and well worth it.
In addition to the mining and quarrying sector, ALCO-Safe supplies alcohol and drug detecting equipment to major industrial clients. The company also supplies Concateno drug and forensic testing equipment and has been awarded a contract for drug testing at the Sasol and Total joint-owned National Petroleum Refiners of South Africa, or Natref, refinery in Sasolburg.
ALCO-Safe, which was established in 1970, is situated at 825 Park street, Pretoria.
