TSX- and ASX-listed Alacer Gold on Thursday increased its 2019 production guidance from the oxide plant at its Çöpler mine in Turkey, while also announcing that its sulphide plant had reached commercial production at the end of May.

The oxide plant’s production guidance has been increased from a range of between 90 000 oz and 110 000 oz, to between 125 000 oz and 145 000 oz, while the oxide all-in sustaining cost guidance has been lowered by $50/oz to between $650/oz and $700/oz.

The company reaffirmed the production and cost guidance of the sulphide plant, which recently achieved commercial production.
