The 9th UNESCO Africa Engineering Week and 7th Africa Engineering Conference, hosted by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) in 2023, is the largest gathering of engineers from all corners of Africa taking place from the 25-28 September, at the CSIR Convention Centre, in Pretoria, South Africa.

The event will feature informative discussions on cutting-edge technologies, sustainable solutions, and the future of engineering in Africa. It is a convergence of talent, expertise, and a shared passion for shaping the engineering landscape in Africa. The in-depth programme cater for all audiences with a special focus on women in engineering, young professionals, and students. However, that's not the only exciting addition. There will also be a Business-to-Business (B2B) session, coupled with an exclusive business matchmaking platform for delegates to network one-on-one at no cost to forge collaborations and engage in essential discussions for business development.

From addressing critical infrastructure challenges to paving the way for sustainable solutions, this conference is where innovation converges with real-world impact. By attending this event, delegates will not only have the opportunity to gain insights from key presentations but also to establish meaningful connections with peers and experts from across Africa. High level delegates from Africa will be in attendance including Mr Sihle Zikalala (MP) is the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure and the Minister of Electricity, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa.
