VANCOUVER (miningweekly.com) – TSX- and JSE-listed diamond producer Rockwell Diamonds has delayed its annual general meeting (AGM) from August 23 to October 2.

The company, which has three South African subsidiaries – Rockwell Resources, HC van Wyk Diamonds and Saxendrift Mine – has to file its business rescue plan by September 30 for its subsidiaries that are currently being managed under the South African Business Rescue Provisions.

The record date for the AGM is set for August 25, 2017 for the company’s Canadian shareholder register; only shareholders registered for this date are entitled to receive notice of the meeting and entitled to vote at the meeting. Similarly, only shareholders on the South African register as of August 25 are entitled to receive notice of the meeting, and only shareholders on record as of September 22 are entitled to vote at the meeting, with the last day to trade being September 19.
