Canadian company clinches gold exploration licences in Eritrea

ASX-listed Chalice Gold Mines reports that wholly owned subsidiary Keren Mining has signed agreements with the Eritrean Ministry of Energy and Mines for two new exploration licences, which total 830 km2, in northern Eritrea.

Global gold company Chalice Gold Mines has upgraded the regional exploration potential at its 80%-owned 944 000-oz Zara gold project, in Eritrea, East Africa, after completing the first phase of a regional exploration programme.
