Two Rivers

Two Rivers is a platinum-group metals (PGMs) mine located near Burgersfort in Limpopo province, South Africa. The operation is situated on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex, one of the world's richest repositories of platinum, palladium and associated metals. Two Rivers is jointly owned by African Rainbow Minerals and Impala Platinum, operating as a producing asset within the broader South African PGM sector. The mine extracts ore from underground workings and processes it through concentrator facilities to produce PGM concentrate for further refining. Two Rivers has been a significant contributor to regional employment and mineral output in the Steelpoort area of Limpopo. The operation's production profile and reserves position it as a material asset in the portfolios of both parent companies. Infrastructure at the mine includes shaft systems, processing plants and associated surface facilities. Two Rivers continues to feature in strategic discussions around PGM supply, given the Bushveld Complex's global importance as a source of platinum and palladium for automotive, industrial and investment markets.
