Altona Rare Earths has identified heavy rare earth element enrichment in the Monte Muambe fluorspar and gallium ore, which could provide an additional value driver for the multicommodity project.
Altona Rare Earths has signed a $1.87-million grant agreement with the US Trade and Development Agency to support prefeasibility work on the project.
The final assay results from the 2025 drilling campaign have confirmed high-grade, near-surface fluorspar and gallium mineralisation.
The US Trade and Development Agency has confirmed its intention to support the project.
