Electra Mining Africa

Electra Mining Africa is a biennial trade exhibition focused on mining, electrical, manufacturing, automation and power-generation industries in Africa. The event is held in Johannesburg, South Africa, and serves as a platform for suppliers, manufacturers and service providers to showcase equipment, technology and solutions to industry professionals. It attracts exhibitors from across the mining value chain, including original equipment manufacturers, component suppliers and engineering firms. The exhibition covers sectors such as earthmoving, materials handling, mineral processing, electrical engineering and industrial automation. Electra Mining Africa draws visitors from across sub-Saharan Africa and is considered one of the continent's largest industrial trade shows. The event typically features live demonstrations, technical presentations and networking opportunities for industry stakeholders. Major exhibitors have included global brands such as Komatsu, Sandvik, Bell Equipment and Barloworld, alongside regional and local suppliers. Electra Mining Africa has been running for several decades and is organised by Specialised Exhibitions, a division of Montgomery Group Africa, positioning itself as a key commercial and knowledge-sharing forum for Africa's mining and manufacturing sectors.
