Colin Bird

Colin Bird is a British mining executive and geologist with extensive experience in the resources sector, particularly in rare earth elements and strategic minerals. He has held leadership positions across multiple mining companies and jurisdictions, with a focus on project development and corporate strategy. Bird is known for his work in advancing rare earth projects, a sector critical to technology and renewable energy supply chains. He has served as executive chairman and nonexecutive director for various mining ventures, bringing technical expertise and capital markets experience to early-stage and development projects. His career spans several decades in the global mining industry, with involvement in projects across Africa, Europe and other regions.
