Rio Tinto sells shares in Cloud Peak for $499,2m

Rio Tinto has sold shares in US coal-miner Cloud Peak Energy for $499,2-million, lowering its holding in the company to around 6,2%. The group sold 25,6-million shares, at $19,50 each, in an underwritten secondary offering.
