Middelburg | 17 July – Renowned mining company Zizwe continues to thrive by prioritising the establishment of strong partnerships with reputable clients involved in sustainable commodity extraction within its operational areas. With a focus on fostering long-term relationships with esteemed industry leaders, Zizwe contributes to the mining of essential resources such as platinum, coal and chrome. The extension of numerous existing contracts attests to the dedication and expertise of its operational and plant teams, who have diligently pursued these opportunities following the principles of the "Zizwe approach”.

Acknowledging the need for new power sources and recognising South Africa's challenging position with dwindling investor interest, Zizwe reiterates the statement made by Minister Gwede Mantashe that "coal is phasing down, not phasing out" in South Africa. Zizwe remains committed to responsibly mining coal in accordance with government guidelines.

Parallel to the YES4YOUTH initiative, Zizwe initiated its accountability in the workplace training in April.
