JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Aim-listed Hummingbird Resources’ Yanfolila gold project, in Mali, remains on track for first gold production at the end of this year.
The plant will have capacity to process 1.24-million tons a year, producing 132 000 oz of gold in its first full year of production. Average production over the life-of-mine is expected to be 107 000 oz/y.
Civil works on the project were under way and on track for steel work to start in the coming weeks, Hummingbird said on Wednesday.
