JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – An employee was killed at TSX- and NYSE-listed Jaguar Mining’s Turmalina mine, in Minas Gerais, Brazil, on Friday.
The incident occurred in the underground workings of the Turmalina mine.
The company and local authorities were investigating the circumstances and the causes of the incident and operations at the mine in the area of the accident had been suspended pending the completion of the investigation.
