TSX- and NYSE-listed precious metals streaming company Wheaton Precious Metals Corporation has started trading on the LSE main market, effective October 28.

CEO Randy Smallwood says Wheaton’s business model offers UK investors a unique and appealing opportunity to gain exposure to precious metals through one of the highest-quality portfolios of assets in the industry.

The company currently has streaming agreements for 20 operating mines and nine projects in various stages of development. It is aiming to be the world’s premier precious metals investment vehicle.

Wheaton’s production profile includes a gold stream on Vale’s Salobo mine and a silver stream on Newmont’s Peñasquito mine.
