Wesizwe to swing to H1 earnings loss

JSE-listed miner Wesizwe Platinum expects to report a basic loss a share attributable to ordinary shareholders of between 80c and R1.04 for the six months ended June 30.

This represents a 168% to 188% decrease on the basic earnings a share of R1.17 reported for the prior comparable period.

Wesizwe further expects to report a headline loss a share of between 80c and R1.03, which is between 108% and 111% lower than the headline earnings a share in the prior comparable period.

Wesizwe will publish its results on or around September 28.
