This month’s visit of National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference chairperson Yu Zhengsheng (left) to Sweden saw Falun Gong members protest against what they called 14 years of persecution. Yu also paid an official goodwill visit to Finland at the invitation of the Finnish Parliament. Falun Gong members stood in front of the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg and in front of the Royal Palace in Stockholm, where Yu met Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf.
