TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – TSX-listed miner Veris Gold this week made several immediate senior-level appointments, including the appointment of president Llee Chapman as CEO and director and Graham Dickson as COO.

In addition to his COO position, Dickson would remain senior VP for corporate development. The company also said that Shaun Heinrichs would remain CFO.

At the Jerritt Canyon operations in Elko, Nevada, Joseph Driscoll was appointed GM with immediate effect and Joseph Wheeldon was recently appointed as mine manager. Kiedock Kim was appointed plant manager and Chris Jones was appointed assistant plant manager.

Veris said its officers also included VP for investor relations Joanne Jobin, VP for exploration Todd Johnson and VP for finance Cameron Patterson.

"The appointment of Chapman as CEO at Veris is a natural progression to our current corporate restructuring and we look forward to his continued leadership and continuing improvements at our operations in Elko, Nevada.

“Both Dickson’s and Heinrichs’ skill-sets are considered significant strengths in our newly reorganised team and we look forward to their valuable contributions in the future,” Veris executive chairperson Francois Marland said.
