Ukrainian company started supplies of mine rescue equipment to Thailand

DEZEGA Holding Ukraine started cooperation with a Thai company, specializing in potash extraction.
The self-contained self-rescuers of Ukrainian manufacture will be used in construction of a new mine for the potash extraction in Thailand.

Ukrainian manufacturer of personal respiratory protective equipment, DEZEGA Holding Ukraine, started cooperation with Thai Kali Company Limited, specializing in exploration, development and operation of underground mining for potash in Thailand. The enterprise has performed the first supply of compact belt-worn personal self-contained self-rescuers, Ci-30 KS. These self-rescuers ensure that workers have oxygen supply enough to escape from dangerous irrespirable atmosphere in case of emergency. The mine will be launched into operation 2017.

“We see the growing interest to our products in Asia. Here, the companies specify serious requirements to the quality and reliability of the equipment. It is important for us, as Ukrainian manufacturer, supplying our products on the international markets, to have positive references from Thailand and Hong Kong. It’s another step in order to expand cooperation with leading international mining consortia in Asia and other countries”, - underlined Anton Sakovych, Chairman of the Board, DEZEGA Holding Ukraine.

DEZEGA Holding Ukraine already has experience in cooperation with companies, involved in underground potash mining in Russia and Belarus, where about 30% of world reserves of potash are located. DEZEGA Holding Ukraine has already been cooperating with one of the leading tunnel construction companies of Hong Kong for three years, and another batch of self-rescuers going to Thailand is a next step of expansion into the Southeast Asia region.
