PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Project house CIMIC Group is expecting to generate revenue of around A$200-million from a range of new maintenance and service contracts in the Australian oil and gas sector.

CIMIC on Friday reported that its subsidiary UGL had secured a maintenance and turnaround services contract with US major Chevron at its Gorgon and Wheatstone facilities, in Western Australia, to deliver mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and access services for maintenance, plant turnaround, and brownfield execution services.

A second contract will deliver extension of integrated services for structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation for existing clients in Western Australia, while a third will extend the scope for maintenance and project-related services for an existing client’s assets across Victoria.

The contracts will be executed over a multiple-year period.
