Ferrochrome producer Merafe Resources says the European benchmark ferrochrome price for the third quarter of 2023 has been set at $1.51/lb.
That is 12.2% lower than the $1.72/lb price set for the second quarter.
Merafe holds a 20.5% interest in the Glencore-Merafe Chrome Venture.
