South Africa is one of the world’s top three mega biodiverse nations along with Brazil and Indonesia, said Environment, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Barbara Creecy in her address to the Oppenheimer Research Conference.

Given the socioeconomic challenges facing South Africa, State-owned Eskom chairperson and acting CE Dr Jabu Mabuza reiterated the power utility’s support for an energy mix that is based on providing reliable energy to the country.
