PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Regis Resources has reported another record quarter for production, producing 91 921 oz of gold during the three months to September at its Duketon project, in Western Australia.

This was up from the 90 428 oz produced in the previous quarter, and was at the upper-end of the annual production guidance of between 335 000 oz and 365 000 oz.

Cash costs for the quarter reached A$684/oz, with all-in sustaining costs reported at A$861/oz.

During the three months under review, Regis sold 79 347 oz of gold at an average price of A$1 623/oz, compared with the 88 551 oz sold in the June quarter at an average price of A$1 678/oz.

The project generated an operating cash flow of A$62.9-million in the September quarter, which was lower than the A$74.2-million generated in the June quarter, owing to a substantial build-up of gold in circuit at the Duketon operation at the end of the quarter.

At the end of the quarter, the ASX-listed miner had A$131.3-million in cash and bullion, down from the A$151.7-million at the end of the previous quarter.
