JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – A winch operator at JSE-listed Royal Bafokeng Holdings’ Bafokeng Rasimone Platinum Mine (BRPM) South shaft has died after being struck by a scraper rope during scraping operations.
All normal underground operations at the shaft were suspended pending an investigation into the incident.
