JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat) on Tuesday reported a fatality at its Styldrift I project, in Rustenburg.
Underground operations were suspended pending a full investigation after an Aveng contract employee, who was employed as an equipping assistant, was fatally injured in a shaft-related incident.
Four other employees sustained minor injuries and were currently being treated.
