Nobel laureates for Mintek backed African nano first

State minerals research organisation Mintek is sponsoring the seventh international symposium on macro- and supramolecular architecture and materials (MAM-14), which will take place in South Africa in November.

The nanotechnology conference, a first for Africa, will provide a venue for entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to discuss collaborative research and business developments.

Experts

International experts from more than 40 countries will take part, along with three Mintek-sponsored Nobel laureates in professors Dan Shechtman, Robert Huber and Klaus von Klitzing.

Engineers attending the MAM-14 at Emperors Palace, in Boksburg, from November 24 to 27, qualify for five continuing professional development credits.
