NEW TRAINING CENTRE:

Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe, accompanied by Sepfluor CEO Rob Wagner on the extreme right, walks through the newly opened 2 400 m2 Dr Lelau Mohuba Training Centre, near Rust de Winter, in Gauteng, which was built and equipped in seven months at a cost of R17-million. Sepfluor’s wholly owned Nokeng mine last week launched the Mining Qualifications Authority-accredited facility, which is expected to train 2 500 people from ten surrounding communities in boilermaking, fitting and welding, and as electrical aides. Sepfluor is nearing completion of its R1.7-billion fluorspar mine and concentrator located near the training centre
