JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Gold junior ABM Resources has appointed Matt Briggs, an experienced geologist and mining industry executive, as its MD.
Briggs, who most recently headed group strategic planning for South Africa-headquartered gold major Gold Fields, will take up his appointment on October 3.
Briggs has 20 years’ experience in Australia and internationally in various aspects of mine geology, exploration, project management and strategic leadership in the gold industry. He has been directly involved or managed teams that have discovered several multimillion-ounce gold deposits.
